VINYASA

Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures. This style of yoga helps to increase muscle strength & flexibility as well as bring your mind to the present.

YIN

Yin is a gently practice focusing on stillness and relaxation. This practiced is good for iIncreasing circulation and flexibility, calming and balancing the mind and body, reducing stress and anxiety, and increased joint mobility.

ASHTANGA

Ashtanga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

  • Detox Retox: Yoga + Beer July 26th @ 6:30p

    Village Yoga and Cherry Street Taproom are partnering to bring you yoga + beer. Bring your boo or a friend for a 1 hr detoxifying yoga class at Village Yoga followed by some “retoxifying” beers at Cherry Street.

    Tickets:
    Early Bird – $25/person
    After 7/17 – $35/person
    includes 1 hr yoga class and 2 beers at Cherry Street

  • Yoga on the Green - FREE Aug 13th 8:30am

    Join Village Yoga for a complimentary all levels yoga class on the Vickery Village green in front of Chill Hill once a month April through September.

    Bring your yoga mat and a friend – we’ll bring the zen!

  • Yin + Sound Healing Sept 21st 4:00pm

    Nurture your body, mind, and soul with sound, breath, and gentle movement in this class led by Village Yoga’s Karen L. Ziemkowski and accompanied by Sound Healer Dana Rogers. This class combines long holds with the support of props and the healing, resonant sounds of the singing bowls. Allow yourself to go inward and make space as you experience this unique meditation in (slow) motion and deep sensation in the physical body. Following class, Dana will be available for questions and will discuss sound therapy basics to expand the understanding of this art and science!
